Exam Results 2016 information

CCW has celebrated a good set of examination results this summer with a pass rate of 96% in all subjects.  These are pleasing results that demonstrate the hard work and commitment from the staff and students alongside the support of their parents.  Our highest performing A level subject was Textiles with 100% A-A* grades which is outstanding.  Other high performing Level 3 subjects included Fine Art; History; Applied Science; Business and Music.

Our students have been accepted to a wide range of Universities to continue their academic studies, including amongst others CCCU, Brighton; Northumbria and UCA.  Students will be studying a range of courses including Psychology; Criminology; Politics; Computer Science; Accounting with Finance and Law with Human Rights.

60% of our Year 13 students were planning on starting University, 24% are starting employment with training, 7% are taking a gap year to travel and 2% were continuing in education.  On behalf of the staff and governors, we wish them all the very best for the future and thank them for their contributions to CCW over the past 7 years.

We look forward to continuing with these successes in the future.
